Rev. William Moore, Jr. was raised in Pleasantville and attended the Mount Zion Baptist Church where he was active in the Youth and Men’s Ministry, became an Adult Sunday School teacher, and was ordained as a Deacon. He served as Asst. Superintendent of Sunday School before resigning to assist his father at New Mount Calvary Baptist Church. While at New Mount Calvary, Rev Moore accepted his calling to the ministry and was licensed to preach in 1993. He was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 2000, and continued to assist the Pastor in ministry while also serving in various capacities in the church, such as: Men’s Fellowship, Director of the Male Chorus, overseer and driver of the Transportation ministry and served as Superintendent of Sunday School for 12 years. He currently serves as the Assistant Pastor, Sunday School teacher for the Adults and Director of the Male Chorus.

Rev. Moore, Jr. is a former Gospel Quartet Singer having sang with the Mighty Stars of Faith of Bridgeton NJ for 9 years before God gave him a higher calling. Rev. William Moore, Jr. served as Pastor of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Mizpah, NJ for 2 years and was a past executive board member and President of the Mizpah Inland Human Services, a non-profit organization.

Rev. Moore, Jr. is also the founder of an outreach ministry – Walking In Fellowship Ministries, founded in 2009. He has served as a volunteer Chaplain for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and currently Walking In Fellowship Ministries holds monthly services at the mission and also monthly services at New Mount Calvary. Rev. William Moore, Jr. is a graduate of Garden State Bible School and holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from the North Carolina School of Theology. He has also obtained a certification in HVAC and has been an Electrician for over 30 years.

Rev. Moore, Jr. was installed as Pastor of New Mount Calvary Baptist Church in August of 2020. He follows a foundation set by the previous pastor, his father, Rev. William Moore Sr. Pastor Moore’s goal is to continue to stimulate, educate, and motivate others to a closer fellowship with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rev. Moore, Jr. has been married to Rev. Jullia Hudson-Moore for over 32 years and together they have two beautiful daughters – Jocelyn and Brittany. Rev. William Moore, Jr. continues to be grateful for all the blessings God has granted him. He stands on God’s word that if we “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, then all things shall be added unto you” [Matthew 6:33]

First Lady Rev. Jullia Moore is the oldest daughter of the late Rev. Robert L. Hudson Sr. and the late Doris Ann Hudson. She graduated from Shaw University in 1987 with a BS degree in Computer Information Systems. In 1988 she married the love of her life, Rev. William Moore, Jr and in 1989 joined a newly formed gospel group called the United Gospel Singers which she still sings with. She is also a backup singer for recording artist Gospel Duo Duncan & Rachelle. In 1991, First Lady Moore, along with her husband, joined the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church where she has served on the Deaconess Board, Board of Trustees, Sunday school teacher, van driver, and choir. She is currently the Chairlady of the Women’s Ministry.

Following the call of her husband to Pastor, she continues to serve at New Mount Calvary while faithfully assisting her husband in their outreach ministry, Walking In Fellowship Ministries, where they are allowing the Lord to lead them. In the spring of 2011 Rev. Jullia Moore graduated from the Garden State Bible School receiving a diploma in Biblical Studies. In September of 2011 Rev. Moore gave her initial sermon and received her License to preach from the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She completed her studies with the Bethany Baptist Association School of Ordination and was officially ordained in August 2017.

First Lady Moore is a member of the Ministers Wives' and Ministers' Widows of Atlantic City and Vicinity where she is the 1st Vice President and was also appointed the Dean of Education for the NJ State MWMW.

First Lady Moore has worked at the William J. Hughes Technical Center as a contractor, holding various positions for over 29 years and currently working for defense contractor Leidos Corporation. This loving wife of over 32 years and devoted mother of two daughters, Jocelyn and Brittany, has accepted the calling that God has placed on her life.

First Lady Moore gives praise to God for using her to glorify His kingdom. She loves the scripture in Philippians 4:11 - "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."
